e.surv rolls out Q-Mobile software to 400 surveyors
Landmark Quest has today announced the successful roll-out of mobile tablet devices and Q-Mobile software to e.surv Chartered Surveyors’ national team of residential valuation surveyors.
Q-Mobile, which is a multi-award-winning intelligent property data capture tool, enables surveyors to complete mortgage valuation reports via Tablet PCs. By adopting the mobile data capture solution, e.surv’s circ.400 residential surveyors can now digitally complete site-notes on the move, while improving valuation audit, productivity and driving standardisation of reporting across the business.
Richard Sexton, Director, Business Development of e.surv Chartered Surveyors said:
“We were extremely pleased to complete the roll-out of Q-Mobile and the Panasonic Toughbook devices to all of our residential valuation surveyors earlier this year. By implementing the mobile strategy, one of the key aims was to enable our team to be more productive during a standard working day. As a result, surveyors are now finding that they can complete and sign-off valuation reports whilst on site, which was previously not possible with paper and pen. It is a significant advantage for us, our clients and the industry in general.”
Q-Mobile, used in conjunction with fit-for-purpose rugged mobile devices, helps improve workflow, standardises site notes and creates efficiencies for surveyors whilst at a property. With the advances in hardware, devices are today ergonomically designed for active individuals and incorporate a number of features to suit, including weather-proof /anti-glare screens, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, handwriting recognition and inbuilt encryption for enhanced security.
Q-Mobile has been recognised in the 2013 Mortgage Finance Gazette awards for the Innovation (non-lender) category, in addition to the FSTech 2013 Awards in the ‘Technology Provider of the Year’ category.
Added Liam Parker, Product Development Director, Landmark Quest:
“We are proud to have completed the full roll-out of Q-Mobile in collaboration with the team at e.surv. They have already confirmed that the solution is delivering not only efficiency gains for its national team of surveyors, but it is also providing cost savings from the reduction in physical report printing and archiving requirements.”
