Voting opens for the Financial Reporter Awards 2018
The Financial Reporter Awards has returned for its ninth year with its biggest ever programme including brand new categories and a revamped finalists format.
"Good luck to all hopeful candidates and to all of our readers - get voting!"
Launched in 2009, the Financial Reporter Industry Awards were developed to support the industry by promoting good practice and excellent service, and to reward those who uphold these values.
Voting is now open, allowing brokers to vote for whichever company or individual they feel is the best, most innovative, or most deserving in each category. There are no judges or panels, making the Financial Reporter Awards the most representative awards programme in financial services.
This year, for the first time ever, we will announce the top three finalists in each category before revealing your winners at our Financial Reporter Winners’ Party.
You can cast your votes in categories for mortgages, second charge lending, later life, protection, specialist lending, legal services and technology.
The 2018 Awards also has brand new categories including BDM of the year and underwriter of the year.
Last year's awards saw more voters than ever before, with almost 7,500 votes cast - a number which has increased every year since the Awards launched, and one which we hope to beat this year.
Voting is open from today – you can visit our Awards website and cast your votes at www.financialreporterawards.co.uk.
Voting closes on the Friday the 6th of April and the three finalists will be announced on the Monday the 16th of April.
The 2018 Financial Reporter Winners' Party will once again be celebrated at the historic and spectacular Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester on the 15th of May where your winners will be revealed!
With a champagne reception, superb food, fantastic company, and some surprises along the way – the Financial Reporter Awards Winners' Party will once again be an evening to remember.
Andy Shields, Director of Barcadia Media, said: “Launching the Awards is an exciting time each year - not just because of the amazing event we get to host at the end, but because it’s a true pleasure looking at the votes for financial services’ finest rolling in, and to see the enthusiasm with which the broker community wants to celebrate those who go above and beyond.
“Our voting numbers increase every year, and we are constantly encouraged by the way brokers engage with the Awards programme. It speaks to a great desire by our industry to continually improve, and acknowledge those businesses or individuals who help us to do that. Good luck to all hopeful candidates and to all of our readers - get voting!"
