With this new appointment TMA has increased the number of key account managers to four, to offer a depth of face-to-face support to DA members around the UK.
Ian joins TMA from Paymentshield where he was a key account manager working closely with TMA’s key network and distributor accounts. In that role, he was instrumental in increasing the company’s general insurance sales. Ian also brings with him over 15 years of experience in financial services predominantly in the mortgage sector.
In his new role Ian will support TMA in its aim to give back to advisers. He will join one other South based key account manager to provide face-to-face advice and identify opportunities to help develop and grow TMA’s member businesses.
In addition to the expanded team of four key account managers, TMA also appointed two internal account executives who will act as a vital point of contact on the phone for all members, helping to place difficult cases or just with advice on the different lenders.
David Copland, director of TMA said:
“I’d like to welcome Ian on board as part of our growing and successful team. Ian’s extensive experience in both mortgages and insurance will allow him to immediately increase our level of support to TMA members. Moreover, Ian’s experience in working with our key network and distributor accounts will mean that he is a welcome and familiar face to many advisers.”
Ian Clarke added:
“I look forward to work closely with TMA’s DA members as I believe we have a strong understanding of what they need and expect from us. I will be working to support TMA’s existing dedicated account management team that work closely with our members to ensure that they have all the information, tools and support they need to achieve their business targets.”
