Delegates will also be able to meet the SBG mortgage team, as well as participate in lender seminars, and network with colleagues from across the UK.
Keynote speakers will discuss how advisers can further improve outcomes for their customers, along with how they can prepare and respond to important regulatory changes, such as the Consumer Credit Act and EU Mortgage Credit Directive.
Today’s announcement follows a period of continued growth for the Group’s mortgage division, with revenue rising by 30% last year. The combination of Sesame’s appointed representatives and PMS members delivered over £30 billion of mortgage applications to lenders in 2014.
John Cupis, Managing Director, Mortgages, at SBG, commented:
“As one of the UK’s largest distributors of mortgages, we want to ensure our members are well supported by our lender, insurer and ancillary service suppliers in order to help them grow their businesses further in the coming years. I am therefore delighted to be announcing the launch of our inaugural mortgage conference.
“It comes as our mortgage division continues to diversify its income streams, with strong contributions from protection, general insurance, mortgage processing and conveyancing. Our event in July will be one of the largest mortgage and related services conferences ever held in the UK for intermediaries. We will be sharing with advisers how important industry issues will affect them and how we can best support them and their customers.”
More details, including the venue, will be announced shortly.
