The system allows users to turn their smartphones into 3D viewers by downloading the app and using the Google Cardboard mount.
Partnership's app includes a 360 degree video demonstrating a 'virtual reality' introduction to Partnership.
As the company develops its offering it will be adding further content to the app which will be available later in the year.
Andrew Megson, Managing Director of Retirement, Partnership said:
“At Partnership, we are committed to innovation and finding new ways to interact with our customers and advisers. We were delighted to work with FTAdviser and Rewind FX to create the first financial services Google Cardboard App as we see retirement differently – in 3D in this case.”
Matthew Allen, Co-Founder, Rewind, added:
“Virtual Reality is back in the mainstream with a bang as the technology has finally caught up with user expectations. Since its launch in 2014, Google Cardboard has provided companies with a relatively low cost way in which to provide customers with access to this type of technology. Working closely with Partnership and FTAdviser, Rewind developed an innovative multi-user 360 degree video App, for both iOS and Android platforms. It was an exciting process and an interesting project which fused multiple mediums together."
