Leek United BS appoints new director
Leek United’s Finance Director Paul Wilson has been appointed to the Society’s Board as an Executive Director.

Paul was born and raised in Yorkshire and, after graduating with a Maths degree from Nottingham University, began his professional career in 1993 as a trainee with a small Manchester firm of accountants.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1996, and initially worked in accountancy practices – including KPMG – before moving into Financial Services with the Co-operative Bank in 1998.
His financial services experience includes balance-sheet and risk management, statutory and regulatory reporting, and long-term financial planning.
Paul joined Leek United in July 2014 as Finance Director, and is a member of the Society’s Management Risk Committee, Asset and Liability Committee, and also attends the Board Risk Committee, Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee.
His appointment to the Board of Directors was endorsed by members during Leek United’s recent 2015 Annual General Meeting.
