Kensington grows intermediary team
Kensington, is growing its broker sales team, as the lender pledges its intent to invest more in developing intermediary business.
Paul Weatherhogg is joining Kensington as the Business Manager for North London and he will be supported by Declan Walsh who will be a telephone based Business Consultant. Both Paul and Declan are returning to roles in Kensington and bring with them more than 30 years experience in the mortgage market, 20 of which have been at the specialist lender.
The news that Kensington is growing its sales comes on the back of an eventful few weeks for the lender. At the end of April Kensington launched a new online application portal and affordability calculator, before introducing free valuations and free legals on remortgages across its range as well as the removing its upfront administration fee. Then, earlier this week, the specialist lender announced a new pledge to provide an underwriter call as part of the initial assessment of every application.
Paul Weatherhogg, Business Manager at Kensington, says:
“These are exciting times at Kensington as we continue to develop our business and grow our lending in the specialist market.
“Declan and I are looking forward to renewing old acquaintances and forging new relationships. If you are a broker in my area, I hope to be speaking to you about your specialist clients soon.”
