Intelliflo prepares for MiFID II with call recording function
Intelliflo has added communications capabilities, including secure automated call recording functionality, to its adviser management software, Intelligent Office.
"We know MiFID II, due to become effective in January 2018, is likely to recommend that advisers record all phone calls with clients."
Advisers will be able to replace their existing phone system and utilise their preferred iO storage system.
Intelliflo has integrated with cloud-based communications provider RingCentral, which integrates with other apps including Microsoft Outlook, Google Drive and Dropbox and allows remote access to business telephone numbers via laptop, mobile or tablet.
All calls received via the adviser’s central business telephone number will be automatically recorded. Mobile numbers can be linked through to the central business number so they are also recorded.
Rob Walton, Intelliflo’s COO, commented: "We know MiFID II, due to become effective in January 2018, is likely to recommend that advisers record all phone calls with clients. Many financial services organisations already have this in place as standard. By integrating with RingCentral, we are equipping our clients with the tools to put secure call recording in place sooner rather than later and have peace of mind should MiFID II make this a requirement.
“One of the great advantages of the system is its ability to record mobile calls, so when advisers are out and about visiting clients or contacts, their office number can effectively follow them wherever they go so they never miss a call being recorded.”
