Inflation remains at 0.0%, show ONS figures
The UK's inflation rate remained at a record low of 0% in March, official figures from the ONS show.

The figure was the lowest rate of Consumer Prices Index inflation since the late 1980s.
One of the main reasons the rate remained broadly unchanged was rising petrol and diesel prices between February and March, the ONS said. The CPI figure leaves inflation well below the Bank of England's 2% target.
