Furness BS appoints former Barclays MD as Finance Director
Furness Building Society has appointed Matthew Dobson as its new Finance Director.
Matthew has over 15 years experience in banking with previous roles as Managing Director at Barclays and more recently as Head of Debt Capital at Williams & Glyn Treasury.
Chairman of Furness Building Society, Colin Millar, said: “The Board is delighted to welcome Matthew into the team, his proven ability to build, develop and lead teams across a broad range of areas and skills in Treasury and financial management will be an asset to the Society and we all look forward to working with him to drive the Society forward.”
Matthew added: “I am looking forward to working for a strong, independent and regional building society which is committed to remaining as such.”
