Former YBS finance director joins Belmont Green
Former Yorkshire Building Society finance director, Robin Churchouse, has joined Belmont Green as a non-executive director.
"Our ambitious plans for significant growth in our business over the next couple of years require a board of directors made up of high calibre individuals"
Belmont Green is the parent company of Vida Homeloans and says Churchhouse will help support the management team in expanding the business.
Churchhouse has over 30 years’ financial services experience in leading finance, risk, operational and strategic planning teams in a wide range of regulated financial services organisations, initially qualifying as a chartered accountant.
He held a variety of senior executive roles from 2004 to 2017 at the Yorkshire Building Society Group and is a non-executive director at start-up lending business, Project B-North, which is looking to launch a new bank to provide services to UK SMEs.
David Tweedy, CEO of Belmont Green, said: “Our ambitious plans for significant growth in our business over the next couple of years require a board of directors made up of high calibre individuals with deep and extensive financial services knowledge. We are delighted that Robin has joined us, bringing his experience and insight as a board director and commercial finance director in regulated businesses, to add further quality to the board.”
