"2019 has been a huge year for the industry, with further innovation in the lending market despite ongoing regualatory changes and political turmoil."

Following a successful year taking its educational roadshows across the UK at 15 different locations over 46 events, Financial Reporter will build on this year’s achievements to make 2020 its biggest line-up to date.

Alongside Financial Reporter's established Later Life, Buy-to-Let, Specialist Lending and Commercial Finance Roadshows, the 2020 programme features an expanded programme alongside new Scottish and Welsh Lending Events.

With more lenders launching products for adverse credit and self-employed clients, and with the Help to Buy Scheme extended until 2023, these areas will provide a range of opportunities for advisers in 2020.

Our three new events will feature roundtable sessions with some of the biggest lenders and providers in the market, allowing advisers to sit face-to-face with six industry experts to discuss the latest products, developments and opportunities in the sector.

Additionally, Financial Reporter will a host Welsh Lending Event and Scottish Lending Event at three dates across the year, featuring knowledgeable industry speakers from a range of sectors such as specialist lending, buy-to-let and later life.

As with all previous events, delegates will benefit from complimentary breakfast, lunch and refreshments alongside unrivalled learning opportunities and face-to-face networking with some of the biggest lenders and providers in the industry.

All Roadshow events are CII accredited, affording intermediaries a valuable opportunity to increase their CPD hours and do business at the same time, and places at these events remain free for all attendees.

Full details and dates of next year’s events can be found at https://www.financialreporter.co.uk/roadshows.

James Lucas, director of Barcadia Media, said: "2019 has been a huge year for the industry, with further innovation in the lending market despite ongoing regualatory changes and political turmoil.

"We’ve taken stock of the market and our events programme for 2020 represents a real focus on the issues that are most pressing to you, our readers – which is why you’ll see new additions like our adverse credit and self-employed lending events, as well as a greater regional presence across the UK to make sure that we are accessible to advisers across the UK, not just in London.

"The current climate means that taking advantage of business opportunities and staying abreast of changes in the market is more important than ever, and we can't wait to get out on the road and support advisers in 2020!"
