Financial Reporter announces UK-wide event dates for 2019
Financial Reporter has today announced its educational broker events calendar for the upcoming year, including a newly-introduced Financial Technology Roadshow.
"We’ve taken stock of the financial services market and our events programme for 2019 represents a real focus on the issues that are most pressing to you."
Following a successful year taking its educational roadshows across the country, visiting 25 different locations over 48 events and awarding over 4,000 CPD hours, Financial Reporter is keen to build on its strengths for a strong line-up in 2019.
Details of this year’s events calendar can be found here, but highlights include:
• A Financial Technology Roadshow, launched in order to assist brokers navigate the new tech-based tools available to them. This event will bring tech providers and intermediaries together and help them explore new technologies, their uses, and how they can help businesses stay competitive in an increasingly digital age.
• New locations, including Peterborough, Derby, and – to better serve intermediaries in Wales - Wrexham.
• An increased focus on the later life lending space; due to high demand and a growing interest in the retirement and later life lending market, Financial Reporter has responded accordingly and ensured that the Later Life Lending Roadshow will reach a wider audience of intermediaries.
As with all previous Roadshow events, delegates will benefit from complimentary breakfast, lunch and refreshments alongside unrivalled learning opportunities and face-to-face networking with some of the biggest lenders and providers in the industry.
All Roadshow events are CII accredited, affording intermediaries a valuable opportunity to increase their CPD hours and do business at the same time, and places at these events remain free for all attendees.
Andy Shields, director of Barcadia Media, said: “We had an incredible year travelling up and down the country, meeting hundreds of advisers, holding exciting and forward-thinking events, and adding real value to the intermediary market.
“We’ve taken stock of the financial services market and our events programme for 2019 represents a real focus on the issues that are most pressing to you, our readers – which is why you’ll see new additions like our Technology Roadshow and recently-launched Women's Recognition Awards.
“We can’t wait to see more of you in the coming 12 months and, as always, we hope to bring you events which are interesting, thought-provoking and useful for your business.”
