Eddie Goldsmith retires from GWlegal
Eddie Goldsmith has retired from GWlegal after 35 years as a partner of the firm.
"I have nothing but lots of memories and lots of highs. It wouldn’t have been possible without working with lots of great staff both present and previously employed by GW."
Eddie began his career in 1984 as one of the founding partners of GWlegal - which was known as Goldsmith Williams until last year - alongside Christopher Williams.
Eddie was also Chairman of the Conveyancing Association and will continue his involvement as a senior adviser to the trade body.
Eddie commented: “I have nothing but lots of memories and lots of highs. It wouldn’t have been possible without working with lots of great staff both present and previously employed by GW.”
In a statement, GWlegal said: "Although GWlegal is very sad to see Eddie leave it is business as usual for staff at the firm who will continue to carry the torch for Eddie.
"On behalf of the staff of GW they would like to wish Eddie a prosperous and happy retirement spending time with his family and travelling."
