Coventry BS appoints Hastings director Gary Hoffman as new chair
Coventry Building Society has appointed Gary Hoffman as non-executive director and chair of its board, subject to regulatory approval.
Hoffman will join the board on the 26th of April and the Society’s current interim chair, Peter Ayliffe, will resume the role of deputy chair.
Hoffman has held executive and non-executive positions in banking, insurance and payments services. He is currently a director of Hastings Group Holdings and will become non-executive chairman of the group in May 2018.
He also serves on the Board of Visa Europe as chairman and will be stepping down from this position on the 30th of June.
