Family Building Society appoints chief operating officer
Seb held previous roles at Citigroup, Accenture, HSBC Global Asset Management, Barclays, and Lloyds Banking Group, before joining the Bank of England's PRA.
Family Building Society has appointed Seb Mrotzek to the newly created role of chief operating officer.
Seb Mrotzek holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Middlesex University and brings more than 20 years' experience across banking, financial services, fintech, consulting, and financial regulation.
He began his career at Datamonitor in 2002 before holding a number of roles at Citigroup, Accenture, HSBC Global Asset Management, Barclays, and Lloyds Banking Group.
He later joined the Bank of England's Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) as divisional chief operating officer for banking supervision, representing the PRA at the Bank's Cyber Security Committee and the Change & IT Board.
Seb then joined a fintech venture focused on establishing a new retail bank, before moving to Redwood Bank where he became chief information and technology officer and more recently served as director of operations at Finova.
