Catalyst expands operations and underwriting teams
Jade Burden joins as operations project manager, while Marianna Maragkoudaki joins the underwriting team.
Catalyst has made two key appointments to enhance its service for brokers and borrowers.
Jade Burden joins as operations project manager, a newly created role focused on streamlining processes and improving operational efficiency, while Marianna Maragkoudaki joins the underwriting team to support increasing demand and maintain fast, responsive lending decisions.
Jade Burden commented: “I have worked in a variety of operational and project-focused roles throughout the financial services sector and have extensive experience across both secured and unsecured lending. In my previous roles, I’ve been involved in reviewing and redesigning processes, and implementing system improvements, with a focus on automation. I’ve also worked closely with teams across the business to deliver better outcomes for customers and stakeholders.
"I’m really excited to be joining Catalyst at such an exciting stage of its growth journey; my role at Catalyst will focus on reviewing and enhancing operational processes, and supporting teams with the systems and workflows they need to deliver quality service efficiently.”
Matt Gillon, director of underwriting at Catalyst, said: ”Jade's appointment is a key element of Catalyst's commitment to continuous improvement. This newly created role will help to ensure that our processes are regularly reviewed and adapted to be as efficient as possible. This in turn will improve the service and outcomes for all our brokers and borrowers. Jade brings experience and great enthusiasm and is already providing ideas for an even better Catalyst experience.”
Marianna Maragkoudaki commented: "During my previous role at Think Property Finance, I gained experience in managing and underwriting bridging and development projects throughout the full lifecycle, from the initial enquiry to completion. I also gained my CeMAP qualification, which has enhanced my understanding of property transactions, short-term finance structures and end products. I'm so pleased to be joining the Catalyst underwriting team and I look forward to helping the business provide the best service and outcomes for our clients and funders."
Aaron Deo, underwriting manager at Catalyst, added: “I am delighted to welcome Marianna as the newest member of our underwriting team. Marianna joins us with extensive underwriting experience and will play an important role in supporting our broker partners and customers. This appointment strengthens our team and ensures we can maintain our high levels of service while continuing to meet growing demand.”
