Brilliant Solutions joins the Equity Release Council
The partnership aims to support closer collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the wider later life lending market.
Brilliant Solutions has become the latest firm to join the Equity Release Council.
The mortgage club and specialist distributor works with advisers across the UK, providing access to a wide range of lenders and mortgage products.
Its membership comes as the boundaries between traditional mortgage lending and later life borrowing continue to broaden, with advisers increasingly needing to consider a wider range of solutions when supporting older customers.
By joining the Council, Brilliant Solutions will contribute its experience of working with advisers and lenders in the specialist mortgage market, supporting closer collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the wider later life lending market.
Michael Craig, managing director at Brilliant Solutions, said: “We’re pleased to be joining the Equity Release Council and look forward to working with the Council and its members.
“Later life lending is an important part of the mortgage market and advisers need to be able to look at the different options available to their customers. Being part of the Council gives us the opportunity to share what we see and hear from advisers, while also helping our members keep up to date with the later life market.”
Jim Boyd, CEO of the Equity Release Council, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Brilliant Solutions to the Equity Release Council. They work with advisers and lenders across the mortgage market and will bring useful insight and experience to our membership.
“People’s borrowing needs can change considerably as they get older, so it is important that the mortgage and later life lending markets do not operate in isolation. Working with organisations such as Brilliant Solutions helps us share knowledge across the market and support advisers in helping customers understand the options available to them.”
