Barclays cuts purchase and remortgage rates by up to 0.36%
60% LTV rates now start from 3.56%.
Barclays has kicked off the new year with a series of rate cuts to its residential purchase and remortgage ranges for both new and existing borrowers.
In its residential range, two-year fixed rates have reduced by up to 0.36%. 60% LTV rates now start from 3.56% for the bank's Premier product, 3.57% for the standard £899 fee product, and 3.77% fee-free.
75% LTV two-year fixes have reduced to 3.60% for the Premier product, 3.61% for the standard rate, and 3.81% fee-free.
The largest reductions of 0.36% have been made to two-year fixes at 80% LTV, down to 3.62% with an £899 fee and 3.82% fee-free.
Among the five-year fixed rate reductions is a 75% LTV product with an £899 fee, down to 3.82%, and a fee-free 80% LTV rate down to 4.00%.
Green Home products have also been trimmed by up to 9bps.
In Barclays' remortgage range, 60% LTV two-year fixed rates now start from 3.67%, 75% LTV rates from 3.78%, and 80% LTV rates from 4.09%.
Five-year remortgage rates are available from 3.75% at 60% LTV with a £999 fee and 4.02% at 75% LTV with no fee.
Existing customer Reward rates have reduced by up to 5bps, with two-year fixed rates from 3.67% and five-year fixes from 3.75%.
