Assetz Capital appoints relationship director for London and the South West
Callum joins Assetz Capital with over 15 years of real estate experience.

SME property finance funder, Assetz Capital, has appointed Callum Ferguson to lead growth in the key London and South West markets.
Callum joins Assetz Capital with over 15 years of real estate experience. Since 2015 Callum has focused on development finance, holding senior origination roles at both private equity and debt funds, most recently serving as head of business development at Clearwell Capital.
Callum has vast experience across the development finance capital stack having delivered joint ventures, mezzanine loans as well as senior development facilities for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across the UK.
Andrew Fraser, chief commercial officer at Assetz Capital, commented: “London and the South West are core markets for Assetz Capital. Callum’s appointment will enable us to build on the £178m of lending and the building of 804 homes we’ve supported in the region – enhancing our long standing commitment to house building. With the ongoing demand for housing nationally not being met, with over 21,000 homes stuck in planning, it is important that we play our part in the cycle by providing access to liquidity for SME developers at the pace and reliability they deserve. We want to play our part to enable housing targets to be hit.
“We are delighted to have appointed Callum. As a proven leader in the development finance space, his expertise and market knowledge will enable us to continue to grow our footprint in London and the South West.”
Callum Ferguson added: “I am delighted to be joining Assetz Capital at such an exciting point in their journey. Their depth of experience and operational excellence is much admired within the industry and I look forward to growing the businesses footprint across London and the South West, providing flexible funding solutions for investors and SME developers across the region.”
